Description
This copper ½ Anna coin was minted between 1835 and 1845 under the British East India Company during the reigns of King William IV and Queen Victoria. Weighing 12.35 grams and measuring 31 mm in diameter, the coin bears the Company’s iconic coat of arms on its obverse side, featuring two lions flanking a crest with St. George’s cross, accompanied by the Latin motto “Auspicio Regis et Senatus Angliae” (By the Command of the King and Parliament of England).
