Issued between 1865–1878 under Jafar Ali Khan of the Princely State of Cambay, this 1 Falus was struck in copper for local circulation. The coin weighs approximately 11.62 grams, measures 18 mm, and is notable for its distinctive rectangular shape, setting it apart from the more common round coinage of the period.

The obverse bears a Persian “Shah” countermark impressed within the field, a simple yet distinctive design that reflects the regional minting practices and monetary traditions of the Cambay State.
