Issued between 1160–1186 CE during the reign of Sultan Khusrau Malik, this 1 Jital belongs to the late Ghaznavid Dynasty. Struck in billon (copper-silver alloy) using the traditional hammered technique, it weighs approximately 3.36 grams and measures around 14 mm in diameter, reflecting the characteristic irregular fabric of medieval Islamic coinage.

The obverse features the ruler’s name “Khusrau Malik” in elegant Kufic script enclosed within a double circular border with dotted ornamentation. A crescent symbol above the inscription distinguishes this popular variety and adds to its numismatic appeal.

The reverse bears the honorific inscription of the Sultan in Kufic script, proclaiming his royal titles in a bold and compact layout typical of Ghaznavid coinage. The clean epigraphic design highlights the artistic tradition of early Islamic mints.
