The obverse features a portrait of Juan Manuel de Rosas, an influential Argentine political and military leader who served as governor of Buenos Aires. The design includes the inscriptions “Banco Central de la República Argentina,” “Veinte Pesos” and “Convertibles de Curso Legal,” together with decorative elements and the denomination.
