Description
Struck during the reign of Sadashiva Raya (c. 1542–1570 CE), this copper coin represents the later phase of the Vijayanagara Empire. Weighing around 3.2 grams and struck in an irregular round fabric, it reflects the hand-struck minting practices of the 16th century Deccan region.
