Description

1 Tanka Copper Coin | Kishangarh Princely State (1806–1837 CE)
This 1 Takka hammered copper coin (18g) hails from the Princely State of Kishangarh, issued between 1806 and 1837 CE in the name of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II. Though the emperor held nominal power, regional states like Kishangarh struck coins in his name to legitimize local rule.

Weighing 18 grams and measuring 18.9 mm in diameter, this thick and heavy coin carries Persian inscriptions on the obverse, referencing Shah Alam II. The reverse features a charming “Jhar leaf” (clover-shaped) mint mark, symbolizing the issuing authority or mint workshop.

Made using traditional hammered techniques, its irregular round shape and rich patina add to its rustic historical charm.

Perfect for enthusiasts of Mughal-influenced princely coinage and regional minting styles.
